Training and Education
Egis has developed an engineering services model based on a training program unmatched in our industry. Egis engineers must complete a four-year, in-house training program consisting of 8,000 hours of on-the-job training while attending a minimum of 150 classroom hours per year, averaging a grade point of 3.0 or better. Once complete, they hold all appropriate electrical, refrigeration, mechanical, steam and boiler licenses. As industry standards evolve and new issues emerge, Egis’ training and education requirements are calibrated to meet these changes. As a result, continuing education classes or seminars covering such topics as mold, asbestos, refrigerant emissions, blood borne pathogens, environmental and hazardous material are conducted.
