Facilities Engineering & Maintenance
Egis deploys an engineering model quite different from those of our closest competitors. Our engineers are cross-trained and interchangeable throughout the Egis portfolio. As a result, coverage issues disappear and vacations or illness never prevent scheduled work from being completed. Egis engineers self-perform all electrical, plumbing, mechanical and boiler maintenance at contracted properties, reducing overall property maintenance and replacement costs.
With experience ranging across virtually all property types - from corporate headquarters to data centers and industrial complexes - Egis’ engineering team provides an array of building engineering and maintenance services and sustainable solutions to improve operating costs for our clients and create efficiencies that result in high performance buildings.
Utilizing an exacting owner’s perspective and based on specific training regimens, Egis recruits engineering candidates through the regional vocational and technical institutes utilizing job fairs and specific outreach initiatives. We have consistently utilized this pool of available talent and built an engineering team without parallel in the Puget Sound region with an average tenure of seven years.
